In the late hours of a Wednesday night in the Orange Mound neighborhood of Memphis, a dispute escalated into a fatal encounter that claimed the life of 56-year-old Bobby Woods. On that September evening in 2016, Woods was on Pendleton near Deadrick when an argument broke out. The disagreement took a tragic turn when he was shot.
