Death by Force

On the evening of July 27, 2023, 39-year-old Phil Pittman Jr. was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Kroger grocery store located at 1212 East Shelby Drive in Memphis, Tennessee. According to reports, Pittman had just completed purchasing snacks for his children when he was attacked. Memphis Police responded to the scene at approximately 9:19 p.m., and Pittman was transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
