In the winter of 2020, a senseless act of violence tragically cut short the life of 16-year-old Lequan Boyd, an African American male from Memphis, Tennessee. On the evening of January 20th, Lequan was at a residence in the Hickory Hill neighborhood with his young niece, 6-year-old Ashlynn Luckett.
