Lequan Boyd, a 16-year-old African American male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on January 20, 2020, in a drive-by shooting in Hickory Hill. Boyd was at home with his niece, 6-year-old Ashlynn Luckett, when an unknown assailant fired multiple rounds into their residence, resulting in both their deaths. The incident occurred around 9 p.m., and the victims were rushed to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, but unfortunately, they did not survive.
