In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 33-year-old Kerry R Gilkey Jr was cut short by an act of violence. On March 3, 2024, Gilkey was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the Frayser neighborhood. The discovery was made by Memphis Police officers who were responding to a call about a shooting.
