Essic Woodard, a 47-year-old man from Memphis, TN, tragically died on February 7, 2015. Woodard was an innocent bystander who was fatally shot while taking out his trash. He had stopped to talk to a woman when he was struck by a stray bullet fired during a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred in the Parkway Village area, near Woodard's residence.
