Desmond Ahmad Clay, Sr., a 39-year-old African American man from Chattanooga, TN, tragically passed away on July 26, 2017. He was fatally shot and later pronounced dead at a local hospital after his vehicle crashed into a business on Wilcox Boulevard. The Chattanooga Police Department responded to the scene and found Clay suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
