On August 3, 2017, Randall Kendall, a 40-year-old man from Cookeville, Tennessee, was fatally shot on Scenic Drive. The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. when Cookeville Police received a call about a man lying in the street bleeding. Upon arrival, officers found Kendall deceased at the scene.
