On March 11, 2024, at approximately 2:37 a.m., Cookeville Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting at 586 South Jefferson Avenue, the location of Hooligan’s Irish Pub. Upon arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Christopher Wayne Posey, originally from Maryland, deceased in the parking lot with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
