On a tragic evening in Cookeville, Tennessee, the life of 23-year-old Brent Taylor Flatt was cut short. On December 20, 2020, Flatt was lured to a residence on Wildwood Drive by four individuals with the intent to rob him. The male victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds and, despite life-saving efforts by officers who arrived at the scene, he succumbed to his injuries at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
