Joshua Austin Rowan, a 22-year-old man from Cookeville, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on August 10, 2020, when he was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside his apartment in the 1970 block of North Dixie Avenue. The Cookeville Police Department launched an investigation into the incident, which led to the arrest of two individuals. Calvin Reeves III, also 22 years old and from Cookeville, and an unnamed 14-year-old juvenile were both charged with first-degree murder.
