In the summer of 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the nighttime quiet of a Cookeville, Tennessee neighborhood, tragically ending the life of 26-year-old Zachary Drummond. On the evening of June 25th, Drummond was inside a residence located in the 400 block of North Franklin Avenue when multiple shots were discharged from the street.

At approximately 10:53 PM, at least one of the bullets penetrated the home and struck Drummond. Those inside the residence quickly transported him to Cookev ...
