On October 9, 2023, 55-year-old Rodney Morgan of Cookeville, Tennessee, was found deceased inside his vehicle following a single-vehicle crash on Skyline Drive. Upon arrival, Cookeville Police officers discovered that Morgan had sustained injuries consistent with an apparent gunshot wound.
