Tommy Meadows, a 64-year-old man from Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, tragically died on February 2, 2014, in Cookeville, Tennessee. The incident occurred at the Double Springs Community Church, where Meadows shot his sister-in-law, Etta Medley, in the abdomen before turning the gun on himself. The shooting took place in the church basement early in the morning, before any services had begun.
