In a tragic turn of events on March 13, 2019, David Fulton Vongphachanh, a 14-year-old male of Hmong ethnicity, lost his life in a violent intrusion into his Memphis, Tennessee, home. The shooting, which took place in the 3400 block of Ardmore Street, also left his 34-year-old father, Philip Vongphachanh, in critical but stable condition with gunshot wounds. David was rushed to a hospital and placed on life support, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
