In the vibrant city of Memphis, Tennessee, a promising young life was tragically cut short on September 24, 2018. Calitri Boone, a 17-year-old Black male, was shot and killed in a violent altercation at the Cane Creek Apartments in the southern part of the city. Known to many by his rapper alias 'Two3,' Boone was a talented musician and a beloved figure in his community. His death, one of three fatalities that day, sent shockwaves through a city all too familiar with the scourge of gun violence.
