In the spring of 2024, a wave of sorrow swept through a Memphis, Tennessee, community with the news of a young life cut tragically short. Three-year-old King Gilliams, a male child, died on April 7th of that year, the victim of a heartbreaking incident that unfolded within the supposed safety of his own home. The cause of his untimely death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound, a devastating consequence of happenstance and, reportedly, negligence.
