Donte' Malik Smith, a 25-year-old African American male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on December 26, 2021. He was one of two men killed in a shooting incident on Interstate 40 at Chelsea Avenue in Memphis. The other victim, Derick King, was also found with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene. A female victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
