On a summer evening in Avondale, Louisiana, the life of Danarius Meredith Sr. was tragically cut short. On Sunday, August 11, 2013, gunshots shattered the night's quiet in the 300 block of Pat Drive. When Jefferson Parish Sheriff's deputies arrived just after 8 p.m., they discovered 22-year-old Danarius Meredith Sr. lying in a driveway, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
