On March 16, 2024, 16-year-old Jeremiah Arnold was fatally shot outside a short-term rental property on Roland Street in Midtown Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred around midnight when Arnold was dropping off friends after attending a party at the rental. As he was pulling away, an unknown assailant approached and shot him. Two other teenagers, aged 15 and 17, were also injured in the shooting but survived.
