On the evening of April 22, 2025, tragedy struck at a McDonald's in Frayser, Memphis, Tennessee, where 30-year-old Trivez Washington was fatally shot. Memphis Police Department officers responded to the scene at 3149 Thomas Street at approximately 5:17 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Washington, a Black male, suffering from gunshot wounds behind the front counter.
