Scottie Meeks Sr., a 22-year-old male from Memphis, TN, tragically died on December 7, 2014. He was fatally shot in the Whitehaven neighborhood of Memphis. According to reports, Meeks may have been carrying his 2-year-old son when he was shot. The child was also injured in the incident and was transported to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in critical condition but was expected to recover.
