Orlyn Jovany Matta Martinez, a 44-year-old man, was fatally shot on September 2, 2020, in the parking lot of Horizon Park Apartments in Antioch, Nashville, TN. According to Metro Nashville Police Department , Martinez was near his vehicle when he was shot multiple times at around 9:20 p.m. Initially, it was believed to be a carjacking attempt, but further investigation revealed no clear indication of robbery.
