Barry McDonald, a 35-year-old man, was tragically murdered on July 14, 1989. He was stabbed to death in Tennessee by Henry Eugene Hodges, a convicted serial killer. Hodges, who was known for targeting men, particularly those who were homosexual, confessed to murdering at least eight individuals between 1988 and 1990. McDonald's murder was one of the three cases for which Hodges was tried and convicted.
