In the early hours of October 23, 2020, the life of 32-year-old Jacquez Detarrious Perry was tragically cut short in a shooting that occurred in Bolivar, Tennessee. The incident took place around 12:35 a.m. on West Jefferson Street, leaving the community in mourning for a man described as a mentor to many local children.
