Michael Ruiz, a 19-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on March 20, 2018, in Bolivar, Tennessee. Ruiz was an employee at the El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant, where he was fatally shot during an armed robbery. The incident occurred when two men entered the restaurant through the back door and demanded money from Ruiz before shooting him and fleeing the scene.
