LaTeesha Shunnea Matthews, a 40-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on December 12, 2020, in Jackson, Tennessee. She was found fatally shot in her home on Meadowlands Cove in the north side of Jackson. According to reports, Matthews was sitting inside her home when she was shot multiple times from outside. The incident occurred around 9:05 p.m., and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
