Ermateen James, a 52-year-old woman of African American ethnicity, tragically died on March 5, 2019, in Jackson, Tennessee. She was found unresponsive inside her home on Highview Street after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. Ermateen was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
