On November 8, 2021, 18-year-old Yasmine Humphrey was tragically killed in a shooting near Lambuth Boulevard and Westwood Avenue in Jackson, Tennessee. Humphrey, who was African American, was found with gunshot wounds in her vehicle and died at the scene.
