On the evening of New Year's Eve 2025, a domestic dispute on a floating pedestrian bridge at Lake Como Park in Fort Worth, Texas, escalated into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 35-year-old Delante Ticorian Washington. Washington was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:26 p.m. His long-term girlfriend, 29-year-old Alisha Monique Browley, was immediately detained by responding officers and has since been charged with his murder.
