Alvion Ferrell Norris, 21, a Black/African American male, was shot on the afternoon of May 25, 2025, in Fort Worth’s Fairhaven neighborhood and later died at the hospital. Officers were dispatched around 3:18 p.m. to the 4200 block of Carmel Avenue, where they found Norris with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital and pronounced dead; the Tarrant County Medical Examiner later identified him and ruled the case a homicide. Two other people were also wounded in th ...
