On March 22, 2025, 30-year-old Martin Diaz, a Hispanic male from Fort Worth, Texas, was tragically killed in what authorities believe was a murder-for-hire scheme. At approximately 3:30 a.m., Fort Worth police responded to a shooting in the 2600 block of Covert Avenue in the South Hills neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered Martin Diaz deceased in an alleyway, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds to the head.
