On March 27, 1985, 16-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Davis, a white male from Fort Worth, Texas, disappeared. His nearly decapitated, mutilated, and castrated body was discovered in April of that year in a swamp near the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge. The brutal nature of the crime shocked the community and remained unsolved for several years.
