James Lynn Marshall, 28, Black male, was found late Sunday morning, June 15, 2025, in the backyard of a home in the 3000 block of Forest Avenue in Fort Worth with gunshot wounds to his upper body. Police said the shooting followed a verbal altercation; James Lynn Marshall, 28, male, was pronounced dead at the scene as homicide detectives began their investigation.
