Death by Force

Johnny A. Foxx, a 53-year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee, was fatally shot on July 14, 2021, in the Jones/Buena Vista neighborhood. Foxx was found lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds, and despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The Nashville Police Department's Homicide Unit launched an investigation into the incident, but the shooter remained at large. At the time of his death, Foxx was a resident of 14th Avenue North.
