Maurice Walker, a 33-year-old African American male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on October 9, 2021. The incident occurred in the 5000 block of Blacksmith Drive in northwest Shelby County. Walker was shot during a heated altercation that erupted when he stopped his car and got out to confront several individuals, including Denorius Butler and Tyler Tee Malek Wilson.
