On December 28, 2023, 19-year-old Nicholas O'Neal Sawyer tragically lost his life to gun violence in Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred in North Memphis, where authorities discovered Sawyer with fatal gunshot wounds. Despite immediate response efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
