Terry Figgs, a 25-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically died on May 11, 2016, after being shot multiple times in the 1800 block of Farrington in Southwest Memphis. He succumbed to his injuries within hours at Regional One Medical Center. Witnesses identified a man known as "Hood" as the shooter, who allegedly took Figgs' duffle bag during the incident. The suspect, later identified as Timmie Cooperwood, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in perpetration of theft.
