In the summer of 2023, the life of 16-year-old Cleveon D. Marshall was tragically cut short in Memphis, Tennessee. A Black male, Cleveon passed away on July 10, 2023. His death was ruled a homicide caused by a firearm.

In the days that followed Cleveon's death, law enforcement began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Their efforts led to the identification of a suspect, a 15-year-old male. On July 25, 2023, the U.S. Marshals Service apprehended the teenage s ...
