On June 14, 2023, Joshua Taylor, a 28-year-old resident of Memphis, Tennessee, was found dead from gunshot wounds in the Orange Mound neighborhood. His body was discovered inside a vehicle near the intersection of Spottswood Avenue and Buntyn Street around 1 p.m. Witnesses suggested that the shooting may have occurred the previous night. Taylor, also known as "CEO Teezy," was a father of two.
