Derrion Arket Childs Jr., a 21-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on November 23, 2021. He was a comedian known locally for his humor and presence in the community. Childs was shot and killed at a Valero gas station in the Frayser neighborhood of Memphis. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. CST, and Childs was one of three victims shot at the scene. The other two victims included a woman in non-critical condition and a man who was not injured.
