Jeremiah Taylor, a 32-year-old African American man from Memphis, Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed on February 25, 2022. Taylor was well-known in the community for his dedication to maintaining the memorial site for rapper Young Dolph at Makeda's Homemade Cookies. He visited the site daily to tidy up and add to the memorial, which included posters, photos, flowers, and other items from grieving fans.
