In the fall of 2014, a tragic series of events unfolded in Philadelphia, leading to the death of 42-year-old Kenneth Woods, a Black male. On the evening of September 23rd, Woods was in the parking lot of a Popeye's Chicken restaurant on the 4200 block of Broad Street when he was shot in the chest.
