Sircarr Johnson Jr., a 23-year-old Black male, was tragically killed on July 4, 2021, during a Fourth of July barbecue at his clothing store, Premiere Bande, in West Philadelphia. The event, which was meant to celebrate the store's anniversary, turned deadly when over 100 shots were fired, resulting in Johnson's death and that of his 21-year-old friend, Salahaldin Mahmoud.
