On April 27, 2008, Tyrone Miller, a 43-year-old African American male, was fatally shot during a robbery in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. According to reports, Miller was returning home from a graduation party when he was confronted by an armed assailant and shot multiple times. He died at the scene.
