In the evening of October 26, 2021, a 28-year-old Black male, Demetrius Brown, was fatally shot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 7:41 p.m. on the 6600 block of Castor Avenue. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Brown suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
