In the late afternoon of a Monday in Philadelphia, tragedy struck on the 2900 block of Wishart Street. On March 19, 2018, at approximately 4:09 p.m., police responded to a call and discovered a grim scene inside a silver 2017 Mazda 6. Two men were inside the vehicle, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. One of the victims was Charles Williams, a 25-year-old Black male who resided on the 2900 block of Allegheny Avenue. The other man was identified as 39-year-old Bryant McCoy.
