In the summer of 2023, the life of Richard Marlin Coles, a 34-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Philadelphia. On the evening of Saturday, July 22, what should have been a normal night turned into one of violence and loss. At approximately 9:46 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers were called to the 2300 block of North 26th Street.
