On June 11, 2023, at approximately 8:50 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 6000 block of Media Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 39-year-old Arthur Thomas seated in the driver's seat of a black Hyundai Sonata, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately transported him to Lankenau Medical Center, where, despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead later that morning.
