Joshua Rivera, a 20-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on April 9, 2021, in Philadelphia, PA. He was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the 5900 block of North Front Street. Despite the efforts of Philadelphia Police officers who rushed him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, Joshua succumbed to his injuries that night. A second victim, 22-year-old Rahsaan Simpson, was also shot multiple times and later died from his wounds at the same hospital.
