On a late summer evening in Philadelphia, the life of Nyher Griffin, a 27-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On August 24, 2022, at approximately 8:24 p.m., Griffin was on the 2800 block of North 26th Street when he was struck by multiple gunshots.
